SellingIOLow-stock alerts
Set the merchant threshold and find SKUs that need attention.
The low-stock threshold belongs to the merchant, so the same rule is used wherever SellingIO marks stock as low.
Set the threshold
Open Configuration, then General. Enter a whole number from 0 to 5,000 in Low stock warning threshold and save.
A SKU is considered low when its lowest warehouse quantity is at or below the threshold. Set the threshold to 0 if you only want the warning when stock is fully out.
SellingIO uses 5 only as a fallback while the saved merchant setting is still loading. It is not the source of truth or a fixed policy; the value you save for the merchant takes precedence.
Read the inventory view
Inventory has two tabs:
- Matrix shows each SKU across warehouses, including Lowest stock and the total. Use Low stock only to narrow the table.
- By store selects one warehouse and shows each SKU's quantity there.
Quantities above zero and at or below the threshold receive a low-stock badge. Zero receives an out-of-stock badge. The badges appear in both inventory views, so you can scan the whole matrix or investigate one warehouse.
If an unexpected warehouse makes a SKU appear low, review that location's quantity and warehouse mapping before changing the merchant threshold.
