Order alerts in chat

Connect a messaging channel to receive SellingIO order notifications in the chat app your team already watches.

What each provider needs

Provider	What you supply
Telegram	A channel name, then the direct chat or group selected through SellingIO's link.
Slack	A channel name and an incoming webhook URL for the target Slack channel.
Discord	A channel name and a webhook URL created in the target channel's integrations.
Lark	A channel name and the webhook URL of a custom bot added to the target group.
Google Chat	A channel name and an incoming webhook URL for the target space.

Telegram uses SellingIO's system bot. You do not create a bot or use BotFather.

Connect a destination

1. Open messaging configuration

   Open Configuration, then Messaging, and select Add channel.

2. Choose a provider

   Select Telegram, Slack, Discord, Lark, or Google Chat. Follow the provider guide shown in the wizard.

3. Enter the connection

   For Slack, Discord, Lark, or Google Chat, enter a channel name and the webhook URL, then select Save & send test.

   For Telegram, enter only a channel name and select Create and link. Choose Direct chat or Group, then open Telegram from the generated link or scan its QR code. Confirm in the chat; the page updates when SellingIO's system bot completes the link.

4. Verify the destination

   Send a test message. If it fails, correct the webhook or retry the Telegram link before relying on business alerts.

Choose order events

1. Find Notification events

   On the same messaging page, open Notification events. New order is always enabled. See how orders arrive for the event that creates the SellingIO order and triggers this alert.

2. Select status updates

   Choose any status changes you also want to notify: pending, confirmed, shipped, completed, or cancelled. This setting applies to in-app, push, and connected messaging channels.

3. Save the selection

   Review the confirmation and save. Only the account owner can change this event selection.
