First sync

Will connecting break my live TikTok Shop? No.

After authorisation and warehouse confirmation, SellingIO pulls listings that are already selling into the canonical catalogue and keeps the link to each TikTok listing. Nothing is overwritten on the live shop. Pushing a product back to TikTok Shop is a separate action you choose from that product's Channels tab.

What the first sync does

A pull copies inward. Live titles, variants, and prices on TikTok Shop stay as they are. SellingIO now has a canonical record mapped to each pulled listing, so later stock updates know which listing to touch.

A push copies outward. You pick what is written to TikTok Shop. Connection alone does not push.

How to check it worked

Listings that were already on TikTok Shop show in SellingIO, mapped to those listings. The Sync log tab shows the direction, status, and time of sync events. Opening the live shop, its listings look the same as before you connected.

You expected the live shop to change

It should not have. If a TikTok listing changed and you did not push, that edit did not come from the first sync. Check whether you pulled, pushed, or only connected.

Listings did not appear in SellingIO

The pull needs a completed connection and confirmed warehouse mapping. Check the unconfirmed banner and the connection's Warehouse tab. If mapping is confirmed and listings still do not show, see troubleshooting.
