Counter stock

Counter stock is the quantity of each SKU physically available at a store. Keep it current so SellingIO can include the store in the same stock pool your connected channels draw from.

Update counter stock

1. Open the store inventory

   Open Stores, select the store, and choose the Inventory tab.

2. Start editing

   Choose Edit inventory. Search by product name or SKU when you need a specific row. A search only filters the table; edits on rows hidden by a later search remain in the draft.

3. Enter the current quantities

   Enter a quantity of zero or more for each SKU you counted. Use Add SKU to choose an active catalogue SKU that is not yet in the store inventory; a newly added SKU starts at zero until you enter its count.

4. Save all changes

   Choose Save, review the number of changed lines, and confirm. SellingIO writes the changed and newly added SKUs together; untouched rows are not sent.

Keep the number current

Repeat the count whenever stock arrives, is corrected, or changes outside a recorded sale. The store quantity contributes to the shared stock pool, so an inaccurate counter count can make the connected channels offer too much or too little stock.

How to check it worked

After a successful save, edit mode closes and the Inventory tab shows the saved quantities. If some SKUs are rejected, SellingIO keeps edit mode open, highlights those rows, and shows the reason so you can correct and save them again.

A SKU is missing

Choose Add SKU and search the active catalogue by SKU or product. Blank SKUs cannot be selected because inventory is recorded by SKU. If the product is not available in the picker, check that it is active in the SellingIO catalogue.
