Data we store
See the account, store, order, and buyer data SellingIO processes and why it is needed.
SellingIO processes three groups of data when you connect a sales channel. This page is a summary; the privacy policy is the source of truth.
Summary
| Group | What we process | Why | Full details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account data | The details you enter to create and sign in to a SellingIO account. | To create your account, sign you in, and operate the service for you. | Read the privacy policy |
| Store data | Products, variants, stock numbers, and warehouse records in your canonical catalogue, including what we pull from a connected channel and what you enter yourself. | To keep one canonical catalogue and one stock number, then pull from and push to the channels you connect. | Read the privacy policy |
| Order and buyer data | Buyer and shipping details on each synced order, including contact, address, order note, carrier, tracking, and delivery information. | To show orders from every connected channel in one list, with the buyer and shipping details that belong on each synced order. | Read the privacy policy |
Where the data comes from
Account details come from what you enter. Store, order, and buyer data comes from the connected channels and from catalogue changes you make in SellingIO. The privacy policy lists the Shopify permissions and explains the data processed from each source.
